Trump refuses to believe that judges aren’t owned by the president who nominates them as he threw a fit in the direction of Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts.
Trump responded to Roberts criticizing his claim that there are Obama judges by tweeting:
Sorry Chief Justice John Roberts, but you do indeed have “Obama judges,†and they have a much different point of view than the people who are charged with the safety of our country. It would be great if the 9th Circuit was indeed an “independent judiciary,†but if it is why……

Trump can’t comprehend the idea that there are no Obama, Bush, or Trump judges. There are just judges. That is what Roberts was trying to explain to Trump, and why the judiciary is an independent branch of the government. Trump thinks that he owns all the judges that he appoints and that they should do what he wants, which is not how the separation of powers works.
John Roberts tried to give the president a lesson in the constitution, and Trump responded with a Twitter temper tantrum.
