Robert Mueller Is ‘Tying Up Loose Ends’ And Getting Ready To Drop The Hammer On Trump

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s down to “tying up loose ends,” according to a new report, and his team is getting ready to drop the hammer on Donald Trump via a series of key documents set to be filed in the coming days.

According to Yahoo News, “Special counsel Robert Mueller’s prosecutors have told defense lawyers in recent weeks that they are ‘tying up loose ends’ in their investigation, providing the clearest clues yet that the long-running probe into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election may be coming to its climax, potentially in the next few weeks, according to multiple sources close to the matter.”

The report notes that Mueller’s team is “planning to file memos about three of their most high profile defendants — former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn, former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and former Trump personal lawyer Michael Cohen.”

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes shed more light on what’s expected to be an “explosive” week – and it’s likely to push Trump even further over the edge.

“If you think the president is lashing out now, well, just you wait,” the MSNBC host said on Monday night.

“Robert Mueller’s prosecutors have reportedly told defense lawyers that they are tying up loose ends in their investigation and what they plan to layout just this week is expected to be explosive,” Hayes said.

This could be the final phase of the Trump presidency

With Mueller signaling that he has the goods on Trump, it’s seemingly no longer a question of whether the president is in legal trouble. Instead, the more likely question is how much legal trouble he will face when Mueller’s work is completed.

The good news is that the special counsel team is increasingly indicating that we will soon find out.

Michael Cohen’s guilty plea last week was a major signal that a storm is brewing for Trump and his universe of corrupt cronies. The expected filing of memos related to Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen will shed even more light on that front.

The Trump tantrums we have witnessed up until this point will look like nothing compared to what we’re likely to see by the end of the week.
