The White House spokespeople are putting out statements attacking Michael Cohen as Trump’s ex-lawyer is exposing the president.
CNN’s Manu Raju tweeted:
WH upset media giving air time to Michael Cohen because he’s a “convicted†liar. “The fact that you’re giving credence to someone who is a convicted, self-admitted liar … and for him to say I’m going to stop lying… now, starting now, is somewhat silly,†spox Hogan Gidley says

The White House is freaking out because Michael Cohen is going on national television and providing the criminal motive for the hush money payments. Cohen told Good Morning America, “He — you have to remember at what point in time that this matter came about. Two weeks or so before the election. Post the Billy bush comments. So yes. He was very concerned about how this would affect the election.”
Cohen has also provided Mueller and prosecutor with evidence to support his story.
The White House has only one tactic that they keep coming back to in this scandal. They are trying to discredit Cohen because they can’t refute the evidence.
Trump apparently thought that Michael Cohen was going to get sentenced and go away. If Cohen is telling the truth, and Trump made the payment to help his campaign, then the John Edwards defense is toast.
Donald Trump broke the law, and the White House is reeling because they have no defense for their sinking president.
