As Donald Trump‘s presidency continues to go up in flames amid increasing legal trouble, Barack Obama is giving the country a much-needed dose of holiday cheer.
The 44th president made a surprise visit to Children’s National Health System in Washington on Wednesday, donning a Santa cap and a big bag of presents.

“At a time that is obviously tough for folks, and the dad of two girls, I can only imagine in that situation you know to have nurses, staff and doctors and people who are caring for them, and looking after them, and listening to them and just there for them and holding their hands,” Obama said during his visit.
“What a great reminder of what the holiday spirit is supposed to be all about,†the 44th president added.
Obama gives back, while Trump lashes out
Meanwhile, as the former president gives back during the holiday season, Donald Trump continues to defend himself from a growing number of legal challenges. At the moment, there are at least 17 investigations zeroing in on him and his associates.
In the latest development, the Trump Foundation was ordered to be shut down after it was caught engaging in illegal conduct – no surprise since the president and his family repeatedly used the organization as their personal slush fund.
The Trump Foundation has done great work and given away lots of money, both mine and others, to great charities over the years – with me taking NO fees, rent, salaries etc. Now, as usual, I am getting slammed by Cuomo and the Dems in a long running civil lawsuit started by…..

…sleazebag AG Eric Schneiderman, who has since resigned over horrific women abuse, when I wanted to close the Foundation so as not to be in conflict with politics. Shady Eric was head of New Yorkers for Clinton, and refused to even look at the corrupt Clinton Foundation……

This only further deepens the contrast between Donald Trump and his predecessor. It couldn’t be any clearer.
While Barack Obama behaves as a president – and a compassionate human being – should behave during the holiday season, the current president continues to be exposed as a man who cares about one thing: himself.
