‘He’s Done’ — Mueller Has ‘Smoking Gun’ Proving Trump Suborned Perjury

A BuzzFeed News report published late Thursday night found that President Donald Trump has been implicated in federal crimes by directing Michael Cohen to lie to Congress. According to the report, Trump directed Cohen to lie about the 2016 Trump Tower Moscow negotiations, and Special Counsel Robert Mueller has evidence to prove it.

BREAKING: President Trump personally directed his longtime attorney Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about negotiations to build a Trump Tower in Moscow in order to obscure his involvement.

Given that Cohen has already pleaded guilty to the crime of perjury before Congress, legal experts explained that, if the report is accurate, it is the end of the Trump presidency.

The lies Cohen told were about secret negotiations during the 2016 campaign to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.

Citing two sources, Buzzfeed reported that, “Cohen also told the special counsel that after the election, the president personally instructed him to lie — by claiming that negotiations ended months earlier than they actually did — in order to obscure Trump’s involvement.â€

“The special counsel’s office learned about Trump’s directive for Cohen to lie to Congress through interviews with multiple witnesses from the Trump Organization and internal company emails, text messages, and a cache of other documents,†Buzzfeed explained. “Cohen then acknowledged those instructions during his interviews with that office.â€

Buzzfeed claims their reporting, “is the first known example of Trump explicitly telling a subordinate to lie directly about his own dealings with Russia.â€

The story also explains that Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump, Jr. received detailed updates about the Trump Moscow project. As Chris Hayes pointed out, this should cause panic among Trump’s family and associates.

If I were Trump, Ivanka or Don Jr, this would make my blood run cold:
“The special counsel’s office learned about Trump’s directive for Cohen to lie to Congress through…internal company emails, text messages, and a cache of other documents.”

Other experts weighed in on Twitter, discussing the seriousness of the federal laws that Trump may have violated and casting doubt on Trump’s political future.

“Big breaking news. About to talk about it on @cnn with @donlemon. Ordering someone to lie to Congress is a felony.

“If there are text messages and other receipts, that’s the ballgame. That’s the smoking gun.

“If true, he’s done: President Trump Directed His Attorney To Lie To Congress About The Moscow Tower Project”

By directing his subordinate to lie to Congress, Donald Trump committed the serious crime of suborning perjury. And if Mueller indeed has evidence proving this, Trump will easily be convicted of this crime. There is no question that it is time for the President of the United States to be indicted for his crimes, and to be removed from office.
