In his latest letter to Speaker Pelosi, Trump made a not so veiled threat to crash the House to deliver his State Of The Union.

If Trump tries to crash the House, Pelosi will stop him
There are a number of ways that Speaker Pelosi can stop Trump from delivering his State Of The Union on the House floor. Pelosi can refuse to allow Trump to speak. Democrats can refuse to pass the resolution authorizing the joint session of Congress. Pelosi can even prevent C-SPAN from showing the speech live. Trump is playing another losing hand by trying to bully his way into getting what he wants.
The idea Pelosi would allow Trump to just walk in and deliver the SOTU at his leisure makes one question whether Trump has paid attention to anything that has happened since Democrats took back the House. These aren’t the same old Democrats who will sacrifice themselves to clean up Republican messes for the good of the country.
There is an easy way for Trump to get his State Of The Union.
All he has to do is reopen the government. Anything less will not be tolerated, as Democrats will not allow Trump to have his SOTU while the government is shut down.
