Trump is now claiming that Democrats secretly support his wall, but they aren’t allowed to say that they want what they keep voting against.
Trump said, “I could see we’re getting nowhere with the Democrats. We’re not going to get anywhere with them. It’s going to be part of their campaign, but I don’t think it’s good politically. And I think Nancy Pelosi should be ashamed of herself because she’s hurting a lot of people. I think the Democrats should be ashamed of themselves. In all fairness to the Democrats, many of them want the wall. And I see it. They’re just dying to say what they want to say, but they can’t say it as well as they would be able to if they were allowed today allowed to do it.”

Democrats do not support Trump’s wall
Trump leaves many questions unanswered about his claim that Democrats really want his wall. Who is stopping these Democrats from saying that they support the wall? Nancy Pelosi doesn’t have the power to stop Democratic members of Congress in the House and Senate from supporting the wall. Pelosi also doesn’t have the ability to stop Democratic voters from supporting the wall.
If Democrats really wanted Trump’s wall they could defy their leadership and vote for it, but when given a chance to vote for funding the wall, Democrats always vote no. Democrats don’t support the wall. Democrats aren’t going to support the wall, and they will never fund it.
Constituents of Democratic members of Congress are calling their offices and telling them not to give Trump a penny for his wall.
The wall is never going to happen. If Trump tries to declare a national emergency, he will lose in court, because Democrats don’t want his wall, and are committed to doing everything in their power to stop it.
