Michael Cohen Warns That There Won’t Be A Peaceful Transfer Of Power If Trump Loses In 2020

Last updated on March 5th, 2019 at 12:48 pm

Michael Cohen told Congress under oath that he is worried about there not being a peaceful transition of power if Trump loses in 2020.

Cohen said, “I did things and I acted improperly at times on Mr. Trump‘s behest. I blindly followed his demands. My loyalty to him cost me everything. My family’s happiness friendships, my law license, my company, my livelihood, my reputation and soon my freedom. And I will not sit back and say nothing and allow him to do the same to the country. Indeed given my experience working for Mr. Trump, I fear if he loses the election in 2020 that there will never be a peaceful transition of power. ”

The big fear is that if Trump loses in 2020 he will refuse to transfer power and leave quietly. Trump will lose then try to invalidate and discredit the election. Trump will try everything that he can to stay in office because for Donald Trump, the presidency is the only thing that is keeping away from being indicted or in prison.

Heed Michael Cohen’s Warning

Few people know Trump better than Michael Cohen. Trump‘s former lawyer is right. The president is only interested in winning, and if he loses, he will do everything in his power to try to stay in office.

Beating Trump won’t be enough. The country will have to soundly reject him in order to not give him a reason to claim that it was “stolen” from him. Trump doesn’t do peace, which is why the country had best prepare for a political war to get rid of this plague on the presidency.
