Donald Trump is rage-tweeting again this morning, and it may be because events of the past week show that his daughter Ivanka is in big trouble.
Michael Cohen implicated Ivanka in the sprawling story of her father’s shady business dealings during his testimony before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday.
Then Adam Schiff and the House Intelligence Committee announced they were bringing in Trump Organization financial officer Allen Weisselberg and Russian mafia money launderer Felix Sater to testify about their roles in Donald Trump’s scandals.
Ivanka has ties to both Sater and Weisselberg, and both of them have immunity to testify against her and her father. This could be really bad news for the First Daughter.

On top of that, Elijah Cummings, chair of the House Oversight Committee, told reporters that everyone mentioned by Michael Cohen will be brought in to testify. When a reporter asked if that included Trump’s kids, he said to check the transcript and see who was mentioned.
And Michael Cohen definitely mentioned Ivanka Trump during his public testimony.
So Ivanka is about to get hauled in to testify before at least one House committee, and probably more.
If she tries to fight it, Cummings will subpoena her to testify. She’ll have to either show up or risk being held in contempt of Congress and ordered by the courts to appear.
So now we know that Ivanka Trump is going to be forced to testify before Congress, and she will either have to perjure herself (and face jail time for that) or tell the truth and further implicate herself, her father, and her entire family in various and sundry criminal acts.
Most recently, she was caught making false statements about her husband Jared Kushner’s security clearance.
And Sater’s testimony will be a huge problem for Ivanka because he partnered with the Trump Organization to build the shady Trump Soho real estate project. The entire project ended up being so ugly, Ivanka Trump was reportedly nearly indicted for her role in it in 2012.
Now one of the key people involved in the project is about to publicly testify. Considering Sater’s longtime status as a government informant, this is about to get ugly for Ivanka very fast.
So in response this morning Donald Trump whined on Twitter about the widening scope of investigations into his family’s alleged wrongdoing.
“Oh’ I see!†Trump tweeted. “Now that the 2 year Russian Collusion case has fallen apart, there was no Collusion except bye Crooked Hillary and the Democrats, they say, ‘gee, I have an idea, let’s look at Trump’s finances and every deal he has ever done.â€
“Let’s follow discredited Michael Cohen,†he added, “and the fraudulent and dishonest statements he made on Wednesday. No way, it’s time to stop this corrupt and illegally brought Witch Hunt. Time to start looking at the other side where real crimes were committed. Republicans have been abused long enough. Must end now!â€

This shows that Donald Trump has reached a desperation point. Many believe believe that once he sees that Ivanka is at risk of being charged with crimes and possibly going to prison, he will flip out. It appears that the time for the president to flip out has come, because his beloved oldest daughter now finds herself in some very deep trouble indeed.
