Democratic presidential candidate, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) suggested that it’s possible that Trump is being blackmailed by Putin.
Could Trump be being blackmailed by Putin?
Rep. Swalwell said on MSNBC’s The Beat with Ari Melber, “There’s evidence of collusion and coordination. It doesn’t go beyond a reasonable doubt but that doesn’t mean this is a good guy. We know the Russians helped him. He asked them to help him. What we don’t know yet is why won’t he show us his taxes, his finances. And look, if this guy is able to be blackmailed by a porn star, how do we know he won’t be blackmailed by Vladimir Putin?”

Since Trump won’t release his tax returns, we don’t know what Russia has on him
Trump has hidden so much information about his finances that the American people don’t know what is causing him to do Putin’s bidding at home and around the world. There is a reason why Homeland Security is trying to secure the 2020 election without telling the president. Trump due to his refusal to accept Russia’s interference in the 2016 election is the enemy of democracy.
Could Trump be being blackmailed?
Maybe.
Is the president compromised?
He could be.
Rep. Swalwell wasn’t wrong, and the only way to get answers to these questions is to get Donald Trump’s tax returns and financial records.
Something is clearly wrong with Trump’s behavior toward Russia and Putin and the future of American democracy may depend on getting the truth.
