There is a lot of grassroots and small donor support out there for Biden. He doesn’t have the massive network of Bernie Sanders yet, but it is clear that the former vice president will not have a problem exciting small donors and raising money online. These fundraising numbers drive home the point that Joe Biden is not Hillary Clinton and anyone who compares the two campaigns does so at their own peril.
Biden is clearly the frontrunner, and he won’t be lacking in any of the needed resources to be competitive.
The next test is for Joe Biden to translate those donations into votes.
