‘People Should Be Frightened’: Donny Deutsch Predicts Trump Will Stage A Revolt If He Loses

MSNBC host Donny Deutsch had a chilling prediction on Saturday that Donald Trump will follow the playbook of authoritarian leaders if he loses in 2020.

Instead of accepting the election results and peacefully handing over power, Deutsch believes Trump will call the system rigged and urge his supporters to revolt.

“People should be frightened,” the MSNBC host said. “I believe he’s not beyond telling his people to take to the streets. This is how dangerous this man is.”

Deutsch said:

What happened this week with Barr, since Citizens United, is the most scary thing to our democracy as possible, and people should be frightened. And he uses the dictator playbook. … One thing, again, authoritarian figures telegraph. He did it last election. He was already teeing it up. Michael Cohen said this and I know this: If he loses, he is going get out of office but it will not be a graceful, peaceful transition. I believe he will say it’s a rigged system. I believe he’s not beyond telling his people to take to the streets. This is how dangerous this man is.

Trump and his supporters are in for a rude awakening in 2020

Over the past two years, Trump has insulated himself and his supporters inside an alternative Fox News reality. Inside this bubble, the MAGA crowd believes Trump’s presidency is the greatest in history and that their dear leader can do no harm.

But in the real world, Trump remains one of the least popular and most corrupt presidents in modern times. He is hoping the Obama-Biden economy he inherited when he took office will boost his chances in 2020, but most Americans recognize that he is unfit to hold this position.

But because of the right-wing reality created by and for Trump, he and his supporters will be in for a rude awakening in 2020 when the American people throw him out of office.

That will make a peaceful transition nearly impossible as Trump tries to burn the place down before he leaves office.
