Transcript via Media Matters:

EARHARDT: They realize he’s a billionaire. He was campaigning on the trail with his plane behind him that’s as big as a Delta jet, with his name on it. It is — we can’t even fathom that kind of money. So I’m sure that they — if you have that kind of money, you look at tax laws. You buy things to take a loss so that you make more the next year. But that’s not how most of us think. So I think it’s interesting to read this article. It’s interesting to see that he had a $29 million boat, or that he had this.

EARHARDT: Yeah. But I don’t think it’s going to sway anyone at the polls if the economy’s doing well.

KILMEADE: It intrigues me more actually.

EARHARDT: If anything you read this and you’re like, wow, it’s pretty impressive all the things that he’s done in his life. It’s beyond what most of us could ever achieve.

You too could have your own plane if you took money from sanctioned Russian oligarchs and potentially laundered it.

Losing a billion dollars is not a sign of success. It means that Donald Trump is terrible with money. Bad to the point where he was responsible for two cents out of every dollar American businesses lost in a single year. Trump is a person that one shouldn’t let near their checkbook much less into the Oval Office.

Trump is a “business guy” in the same way that Paul Ryan was a “policy wonk.”

Fox News is disseminating Trump propaganda

Fox isn’t in the news business. They exist to spin the news in Trump’s favor. Even awful news like Donald Trump doesn’t pay taxes and is a total fraud. It is all propaganda, but it illustrates how the pro-Trump right-wing media bubble isn’t about to allow a hint of reality to go near Trump’s supporters. The tax returns aren’t going to cause a giant shift away from Trump among those who support him because outlets like Fox News are going to be sure that their viewers never hear the truth.
