Trump falsely claims he never used dirt from Russia in election

Trump claimed that he would pledge not to use information from Russia in the 2020 election because he didn’t use it in 2016, but he did.

Trump said, “Well, I never did use [it]. As you probably know, that’s what the Mueller report was all about. They said, ‘No collusion.’ And I would certainly agree to that. I don’t need it. All I need is the opponents that I’m looking at. I’m liking what I see.”

The Wikileaks email dump came from a Russian hack. Trump not only used dirt from Russia. He made it the center of his campaign.

Trump just tried to send Rudy Giuliani to Ukraine for dirt on Joe Biden

Trump made this “pledge” less than two days after he tried to send Rudy Giuliani to Ukraine to pressure the government to help him find dirt on Joe Biden. Trump already tried to use dirt from a foreign government in 2020 and he would have gotten away with it if Democrats didn’t threaten to launch an investigation into Giuliani’s trip.

It is unlikely that Trump can win an election without foreign intervention, so not only will he use dirt from anyone who will give it to him, but Trump’s needs to be propped up to stay in office.
