Republicans Admit That They Have No Plan To Lower Healthcare Costs

Republicans admitted that they are running against socialism in 2020 because they have no plan to lower the cost of healthcare.

Republicans admit socialism is a good narrative because they have no policies

The New York Times reported:
“Socialism is a good narrative to get us back to the majority,” said Chris Pack, a spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee, which is equally concerned with the Trump-won districts that Democrats picked up last year. “Democrats are being good partners in getting that message out.”

While congressional Republicans may not have a counter policy agenda on health care — they repeatedly failed in the last Congress to repeal the Affordable Care Act and have yet to offer an alternative plan — Mr. Pack conceded, “We are more focused on the politics of what the Democrats are doing.”

Republicans aren’t going to lower healthcare costs

Republicans made it clear with their efforts to repeal and not replace Obamacare that they have no intention of constructively dealing with the top issue for voters in the 2020 election. Instead of telling voters what they stand for, which is higher costs and less healthcare, Republicans have dreamed up the socialism distraction.

The reason why Republicans want Bernie Sanders to be the Democratic nominee is that he fits in perfectly with what they are going to run against. It would be laughable to call Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, or Elizabeth Warren a socialist, so Republicans need Sanders to run against in 2020 because if they can’t run against socialism, they’ve got nothing.
