Trump’s TV lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, is claiming that Nancy Pelosi doesn’t have the votes in the House to impeach Donald Trump.
Rudy Giuliani Believes That Democrats Don’t Have The Votes To Impeach Trump
Robert Costa tweeted that Giuliani told him:
Giuliani, in brief interview tonight, described Mueller's statement as an "intellectual contortion," claimed without evidence that Mueller is being influenced by atty Andrew Weissmann, and said the president's team doesn't believe House Dems have the votes for impeachment.

Rudy Giuliani might believe this. It is almost certain that Donald Trump believes it, but the reality is that if Nancy Pelosi wanted to impeach Trump as soon as House Democrats got back to DC, she could have all the votes that she would need in no time at all.
Either Giuliani was trying to bait Pelosi into impeaching Trump, or he was making things up to put a spin on a terrible day for the White House.
Not a single House Democrat has come out against impeachment.
Democrats have the votes to impeach Trump, but they are more interested in laying a foundation through serious investigation than rushing into an impeachment process that will fail.
Rudy Giuliani is living in a fantasy if he thinks that House Democrats don’t have the votes.
Pelosi has the votes anytime she wants them, and that is why Trump is so scared.
