The Office of Special Counsel has recommended that Kellyanne Conway be removed from federal office due to repeated Hatch Act violations.
The Washington Post reported:
The Office of Special Counsel on Thursday recommended the removal of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway from federal office for violating the Hatch Act, which bars federal employees from engaging in political activity in the course of their work.
The report submitted to President Trump found that Conway violated the Hatch Act on numerous occasions by “disparaging Democratic presidential candidates while speaking in her official capacity during television interviews and on social media.â€
The agency said that because Conway was a “repeat offender,†it was recommending that she be removed from federal office.

Trump won’t remove Kellyanne Conway
The Trump administration violates the Hatch Act as often as most people change their socks. Sarah Sanders and Conway have both violated the Hatch Act on multiple occasions, yet both will remain in the White House for as long as they want, because Donald Trump has no respect for the law. Abuse of the presidency is the tentpole of the Trump administration. Kellyanne Conway could violate the Hatch Act one thousand times and as long as she did it in defense of Trump, it would be all good to this president.
Kellyanne Conway shouldn’t be in the federal government, but neither should Donald Trump.
One of the reforms that must happen post-Trump is that there needs to be an independent disciplinary system to prevent presidents from keeping their corrupt lackeys in the White House.
