Eight El Paso shooting victims who were being treated at the hospital Trump visited refused to meet with the president or Sen. Ted Cruz.
None of the eight victims of the El Paso mass shooting still being treated at University Medical Center agreed to meet with President Trump when he visited on Wednesday, the hospital’s spokesman said.
“This is a very sensitive time in their lives. Some of them said they didn’t want to meet with the president, some of them didn’t want any visitors,” UMC spokesman Ryan Mielke said.
Trump did brag at the hospital that his El Paso rally crowd size was bigger than Beto O’Rourke’s:

Trump’s White House has tried to spin the absolute failure of the El Paso visit with a propaganda video/campaign ad, but the reality is that the visit was a total fiasco. Never has a sitting president been so unwelcome in American cities, but there has never been a sitting president who inspired domestic terrorism and the murder of innocent people like Donald Trump.
