Trump is claiming that the recession warnings are fake news people are still shopping at WalMart.
Trump tweeted:
Walmart, a great indicator as to how the U.S. is doing, just released outstanding numbers. Our Country, unlike others, is doing great! Don’t let the Fake News convince you otherwise.

This is going to come as a shock to Donald Trump, but WalMart profits are not an economic indicator. People are still shopping that is all that WalMart’s sales numbers mean. It is not proof that the recession warning is “fake news.” The economy has been showing signs of slowing down for months, but Donald “Herbert Hoover” Trump doesn’t want to hear any of it. People will start losing their jobs and spending will shrink when the eventual recession comes, but Donald Trump will call it all fake news and proclaim that the economy is the greatest in the history of the world.
Trump is proving that when the economic crash comes, he is only going to make things even worse.
