While the burning Amazon has sparked an international crisis, Donald Trump took to Twitter on Thursday night to tweet about ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
In his tweet, Trump sounded off about the news that Sean Spicer, former White House Press Secretary, will be joining the ABC reality TV show.
“Just heard that Sean Spicer will be on ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ He will do great,” the commander-in-chief said as the source of 20 percent of the world’s oxygen goes up in flames.
Just heard that Sean Spicer will be on “Dancing with the Stars.†He will do great. A terrific person who loves our Country dearly!

Trump is an international embarrassment
To be sure, this tweet is not the straw that broke the camel’s back when it comes to Trump being an international embarrassment. He has been since well before he was sworn in as president.
But it’s moments like these – when key issues of global importance are on the table – that Trump really shows himself to be unfit for office. He simply doesn’t have what it takes to be a global leader, which is why other figures are stepping up to the plate to do what Trump is incapable of doing.
As I noted earlier, while Trump was tweeting about Sean Spicer’s new dancing gig, French President Emmanuel Macron is doing what an actual leader should be doing at this pivotal moment – declaring an “international crisis” over the Amazon fires and rallying the world to combat climate change.
“Our house is burning. Literally,” the French president said in a tweet of his own. “The Amazon rain forest – the lungs which produces 20% of our planet’s oxygen – is on fire. It is an international crisis.”
As the world burns, the United States of America is being led by a man who views himself as a television pundit with a fancy title.
