Trump’s Ukraine conspiracy theory is backfiring on him, as Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) is defending the patriotism of former vice president Joe Biden.
Sen. Harris tweeted:
Mr. President, telling lies about Joe Biden won't protect you from the truth. Joe has more patriotism in his pinky finger than you'll ever have. You violate your oath and undermine American values when you urge foreign nations to do your dirty work. We will hold you accountable.

The Ukraine conspiracy theory was supposed to be just like Clinton’s emails for Trump. The difference is that Trump committed what will likely be several impeachable offenses in his call with Ukraine, and the Democratic majority in the House will hold him accountable.
Democrats are also more unified in 2020 than they were in 2016. Trump isn’t dividing the Democratic Party. He is bringing it together in the shared goal of defeating him.
Sen. Harris is still campaigning hard to be the Democratic nominee, but Democrats are also standing up for their fellow candidates. No matter who the nominee is, the Democratic Party is going to emerge from the primary more unified and ready to beat Donald Trump.
Harris and Biden have had their moments in the first two debates where they have gone head to head, but at the end of the day, the ultimate goal is the same.
The Biden Ukraine conspiracy has backfired as Democrats are united in defeating Trump.
