After Second Whistleblower Comes Forward, Trump Accuses Nancy Pelosi Of Treason

Trump is frantic after a second whistleblower has come forward against him, and is accusing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi of treason.

Trump tweeted:

The constitutional definition of treason is, “Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.”

Despite what Donald Trump might believe, he is not the United States of America. He is the president. It is impossible to commit treason by carrying out their constitutional duty of executive branch oversight.

Trump’s behavior also doesn’t fit the constitutional definition of treason, because he hasn’t to date conspired with an enemy that the United States is at war with against his own country. For example, if Trump conspired with the Taliban against the United States, that would be an act of treason.

Donald Trump has no defense for his behavior, so he is using the I’m rubber, and you’re glue defense. Anything that the president is accused of, he is going to accuse Democrats of. There is a mountain of evidence against Trump and his kids on corruption, so Trump accuses Joe Biden of corruption. Trump is accused of high crimes and misdemeanors, so he accuses Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff of the same behavior.

It is a childish plan with no strategy behind it.

Trump has gone from trying to survive day to day as president to a minute to minute fight for survival.

Trump is going down, and accusing Nancy Pelosi of treason won’t save him.
