The White House is in a state of chaos as there is no plan, and no one is running Trump’s response to the impeachment investigation.
Maggie Haberman tweeted:
There is a power dynamic and while several people in the WH describe Kushner as running the impeachment response, in reality there is a struggle between separate camps and no one is clearly designated as in charge, per multiple sources.

To the surprise of no one, Jared Kushner is a big player in the impeachment response, but there is no one coordinating strategy or running the response to Trump’s impeachment. It is just the usual White House dumpster fire where Trump tweets or sends a letter and the Republican Party falls into line with today’s talking points.
For example, after Trump’s letter, Mitch McConnell tweeted:
So far, the House has fallen far short by failing to follow the same basic procedures that it has followed for every other President in our history.

Republicans are getting routed on impeachment because their stable genius president of great wisdom can’t stop watching Fox News long enough to figure out a strategy to deal with impeachment. Trump is going up against a master tactician in Nancy Pelosi, and he is getting blown out of the water every single day.
The Mueller obstruction playbook isn’t going to work on impeachment.
Trump is totally unprepared, and he is being steamrolled by Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats.
