Trump Lawyer Rudy Giuliani Is Now Under Criminal Investigation

Rudy Giuliani is currently under criminal investigation for his relationship with two associates who were illegally funneling foreign money into the US to support Trump.

ABC News reported:
The business relationship between President Donald Trump’s private lawyer Rudy Giuliani and the men charged Thursday in a campaign finance scheme is a subject of the ongoing criminal investigation being conducted by federal authorities in New York, according to two sources familiar with the matter.

The investigation became public after the FBI had to quickly move to arrest Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman before they boarded a flight out of the country from Washington Dulles Airport with one-way tickets. They have been named as witnesses in the ongoing impeachment inquiry into President Trump.

Frank Figliuzzi pointed out the danger that Giuliani is facing during a Thursday appearance on MSNBC, “When the U.S. Attorney himself says the investigation is continuing, the investigation is continuing. When the indictment itself says that this conspiracy involved others known and unknown, there are others that are being investigated and likely may be charged. And I would warn all of these people including Rudy Giuliani that when I read this indictment and the level of detail and specificity, I smell not only human informants, but I also smell a wiretap or some form of electronic surveillance. And that means it’s going to be very hard for people like Rudy Giuliani to say I don’t know anything, these guys were doing this without my knowledge.”

It appears that the president’s lawyer was under legal electronic surveillance. Giuliani’s associates were two foreign nationals who were arrested for federal campaign finance felonies related to efforts to make illegal foreign campaign contributions to support Trump and Republicans.

Giuliani is in real legal jeopardy, as the man who one led lock her up chants may soon find himself behind bars.
