The White House could only tantrum and rant after being blown out of the water by Bill Taylor’s Ukraine quid pro quo testimony.
The White House provided their official response to Taylor’s testimony to PoliticusUSA,
White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said, “President Trump has done nothing wrong — this is a coordinated smear campaign from far-left lawmakers and radical unelected bureaucrats waging war on the Constitution. There was no quid pro quo. Today was just more triple hearsay and selective leaks from the Democrats’ politically-motivated, closed door, secretive hearings. Every day this nonsense continues more taxpayer time and money is wasted. President Trump is leading the way for the American people by delivering a safer, stronger, and more secure country – the do-nothing Democrats should consider doing the same.”
Taylor provided evidence to Congress through detailed notes of meetings and phone calls along with his first hand testimony that Trump was leading the scheme to extort Ukraine. Taylor is a West Point graduate who served in the Bush administration, so he hardly fits the definition of a radical bureaucrat. Trump, who has spent 283 years of presidential salary on golf outings, has no room to talk about wasting taxpayer money.
The White House had no response to the facts that Bill Taylor laid out.
Their response to every new and more damning development is to stop their feet and proclaim that Trump is innocent.
The fits of rage can’t disguise the reality that Donald Trump is guilty, and the protests from the White House aren’t convincing anyone.
