While speaking in New York, Trump made the absurd and untrue claim that his daughter Ivanka has created 14 million jobs in two and a half years.
Trump said, “When she started this two and half years ago, her goal was 500,000 jobs. She’s now created 14 million jobs, and they’re being trained by these great companies.”

CNN’s Daniel Dale pointed out:
Trump has created fewer jobs than Obama and hasn’t 14 million jobs in his own presidency.
The number is a fantasy. The 14 million is based on pledges that Ivanka gathered for companies to train already existing employees, not create new jobs.
In the fantasyland that is Donald Trump’s mind, there is no room for reality. The economy is not “the greatest in history,” nor is it booming. Trump is underperforming Obama. The economy is slowing, and no amount of jobs pledges can disguise the reality of the Trump economy.
