Bill Taylor and George Kent set the record straight and obliterated Trump’s claim that they’re never Trumpers.
Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) asked, “Just before you sat down to testify today the president tweeted multiple times about this hearing and he put in all caps, never Trumpers. Mr. Kent, are you a never Trumper?”
Kent answered, “I am a career non-partisan professional who serves whatever president is elected and carry out the foreign policies of The President Of The United States and I’ve done that for 27 years for three Republican presidents and two Democrat presidents.”
Taylor answered, “No.”

Bill Taylor and George Kent have come forward because they’re patriots. They are acting out of a concept that Donald Trump can’t understand. They are placing the good of the country ahead of what might be best or easiest for themselves.
Witnesses from the administration are not Never Trumpers.
Trump’s claim was a cheap bid to discredit two key witnesses.
Taylor and Kent have shown more patriotism in a few hours than Trump has demonstrated over the course of his entire life.
The impeachment hearings have been a disaster for Republicans as another Trump defense has gone up in flames.
