Prosecutors want Roger Stone taken straight to jail:
NEW: Prosecutors have asked the judge to take Roger Stone into custody immediately. They alleged last night he violated his gag order and communicated with a member of the press.
The allegation came after the judge said Stone will be sentenced on Feb 6.

As former Sen. Claire McCaskill said on MSNBC, “Now, live time, we have someone convicted of lying to protect trump. Now, Sondland’s got to testify next week. He’s watching this. All these cabinet members that are thinking, please, please, courts, tell me that I can ignore this subpoena, all these people, Pompeo, Mulvaney, Bolton, they’re watching — There are real consequences when you lie to protect a president. And so while the president was trying to intimidate one witness, the rule of law just intimidated a whole slew of other witnesses.”

The Stone verdict sends a message to all of those White House officials who were told by Trump that they could lie to protect him and get away with it. They can’t.
Roger Stone is going to prison, what anyone working for this administration should take away from the verdict is that they will join him behind bars if they lie to protect Donald Trump.
The American people are watching the collapse of the Trump presidency play out live on a Friday in November.
