Mitch McConnell is whining, pouting and grumbling because he is going to be forced to hold a Trump impeachment trial.
McConnell told reporters, “It looks to me like the house is going to be on this until Christmas. Then it comes over to the senate. It displaces all other business. The chief justice of the United States is in the chair. Senators are not allowed to speak. They have to sit there and listen, and I’m not sure how long it will go on.”

Mitch McConnell has been very open about doing everything that he can to rig the trial, including setting up the trial schedule so that the Democratic Senators who are running for president can’t campaign while the trial is going on. McConnell is being forced by the Constitution to hold a trial. He doesn’t want to hold the trial and he is going to do the bare minimum to satisfy the constitutional requirement.
Majority Leader McConnell (R-KY) also admitted in his remarks that impeachment is a done deal, by planning to impeachment to come to the Senate, McConnell is saying that there is no chance for Trump to avoid being impeached the House.
Mitch McConnell is sulking and pouting because Nancy Pelosi is going to make his do-nothing Senate majority do something that it absolutely does not want to do.
