Trump flipped out on Friday night and falsely claimed that he only uses a government cell phone when he’s been using an unsecured phone for years.
Trump tweeted:
Fake News @CNN is reporting that I am “still using personal cell phone for calls despite repeated security warnings.†This is totally false information and reporting. I haven’t had a personal cell phone for years. Only use government approved and issued phones. Retract!

Trump’s claim is totally false. Gordon Sondland testified that Trump uses an unsecured cell phone in the private residence. China and Russia have been listening in on Trump’s cell phone calls for years, and have been using them against Trump to sway US policy. Trump once tweeted that he only uses government phones from an unsecured iPhone. Trump actually has two unsecured iPhones, and he refuses to give them up because they are convenient.
More reporters need to double down because Donald Trump is putting national security at risk every that he sends a tweet or makes a call from his iPhones.
