Kellyanne Conway Accuses The Media Of Election Meddling

Senior White House adviser Kellyanne Conway is accusing the media of meddling in the 2016 election against Donald Trump.

The quote from Conway:

Conway was asked for evidence that Ukraine meddled in the 2016 election and she answered by accusing the media of meddling in the election against Donald Trump. The media did not meddle in the 2016 election. They did put their fingers on the scale for their preferred candidate by giving Trump billions of dollars in free media coverage during the campaign.

The free press reports on elections and reporting facts are not the same meddling as in an election.

Conway’s comment was both an attack on press freedom and part of the White House impeachment strategy of blaming everyone for election interference so that Trump’s behavior becomes diluted in the eyes of the public and looks normal.
Kellyanne Conway is trying to make the American people think that everyone either meddles in elections or solicits the help of foreign governments to interfere in elections.

The press does not meddle in elections, but Donald Trump tried to extort Ukraine to interfere in the 2020 election.
