The 1/6 Committee has unexpectedly scheduled a hearing for 1 PM ET on June 28 to discuss new evidence and testimony.
The Committee tweeted:

The Committee recently obtained testimony and footage from documentary filmmaker Alex Holder who was filming Trump and his family from September 2020 through the 1/6 attack.Â
It appears that the 1/6 Committee has uncovered evidence that they feel must be brought before the public right now and can’t wait until the congressional break for the 4th of July is over.
The Committee has uncovered something that it must feel is significant or they would have scheduled the hearing on short notice. Committee members such as Adam Schiff and Jamie Raskin were on the Sunday shows and said nothing about a potential new hearing.
