Officer Michael Fanone Endorses John Fetterman And Hammers Oz For Being A Trump Mouthpiece

Former Capitol Police Officer Michael Fanone endorsed John Fetterman on election eve and called Mehmet Oz a Trump mouthpiece.

Fanone said in the ad, “Oz has filled his campaign ranks with election deniers and even participants in the January 6th attack on our Capitol. Oz is not the independent voice he claims to be. He is a mouthpiece for Donald Trump and his hate-filled, violent rhetoric. Pennsylvanians deserve a representative committed to our democratic process and one who respects the rule of law. That is why I support John Fetterman for Senate in Pennsylvania.”

Fetterman responded to the endorsement, “I’m honored to have the support of Officer Fanone, a true American hero. In the Senate, I’d proudly fight alongside him to hold insurrectionists accountable and deliver justice to the officers who put their lives on the line to protect our Capitol and our democracy on January 6th. We must elect more leaders who will defend democracy.”

The choice in this election is clear. Oz will back Trump and his attempted destruction of democracy the whole way down the line. John Fetterman will stand with the police, fight the insurrectionists, and stand up for democracy.

Oz and Trump are already planning to challenge the Senate election, but Pennsylvanians should listen to Officer Fanone and support the candidate who will put democracy first.
