Rachel Maddow predicted the Republican meltdown and the lengths they will go to to get the vote counting to stop.

Maddow said, “We know now to expect howls of protest from Republicans who will insist that it is somehow suspect, it is voter fraud and election rigging going on. They will demand the vote counting stopped, they will file even more lawsuits on the top of dozens they already have to try to disqualify early likely Democratic votes. But knowing it’s coming doesn’t stop it from happening. It does help us know what it means when it does come. But setting those expectations is probably the best thing that we can all do for ourselves, for our family members, for our friends, in terms of being real, being patient, and not jumping to conclusions about tomorrow night’s results.”

Maddow was right. Republicans are going to do exactly what she predicted. As their early leads begin to shrink, they will demand that the races be called in their favor. The GOP leads will shrink even more and they try to get the vote counting to stop, and when that fails, they will claim voter fraud and that the election is being stolen.
We all know the playbook because we saw it in 2020.
If the election really is even, there will be a ton of close races.
Tomorrow is going to be a long night that will likely extend into Wednesday and maybe even Thursday.
Everybody should settle in and not get too high or too low because it going to be a wild, but if all the votes are counted as they should be, worthy ride for America.
