Conflicted Corrupt Clarence Thomas Tried To Protect His Wife In Arizona 1/6 Committee Case

Last updated on July 18th, 2023 at 01:59 pm

Justice Clarence Thomas wanted to block a subpoena to the Arizona GOP Chair that his wife worked with to try to overturn the election.

CNN reported:

The Supreme Court cleared the way on Monday for the House select committee investigating the January 6 US Capitol attack to obtain the phone and text records of Arizona Republican Party Chair Kelli Ward.

Ward served as a fake elector for Donald Trump in Arizona, one of the states the former president lost but where Republicans gathered to put forth a pro-Trump slate of electors.

The justices declined Ward’s request to freeze the subpoena and lifted a temporary order earlier put in place Justice Elena Kagan, who supervises the appeals court that ruled in the case.

Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito would have agreed to block the subpoena, the court said.

Please, Republicans, tell the nation again about how the court is not compromised.

This is the second time that Thomas has weighed in on a case involving his wife and 1/6. Thomas was also the only justice who would have supported Donald Trump’s request to keep his records away from the 1/6 Committee. Thomas’s wife Ginni was working with Trump on the plot to overturn the election.

Ginni Thomas pressured Arizona lawmakers to overturn Joe Biden’s 2020 victory and hand the state to Donald Trump.

There is no way that Clarence Thomas should have been hearing the case. He had a family involved with Arizona Republican Chair Kelli Ward, who was trying to block the 1/6 Committee from obtaining her phone records.

The Supreme Court majority is made up of corrupt ideologues that the  American people have no confidence in.

If there is an opening on the court in the next two years, President Biden and Senate Democrats will take another step toward returning the court back to the American people.

In the meantime, corrupt Clarence Thomas and his coup-participating wife have got to go.
