Sarah Palin’s ties with the AIP (which itself has strong ties with white supremacists groups, the same groups the Secret Service blamed for the death threats against candidate Obama) should have been a warning about what kind of person she was, but the media were charmed by her folksy mom image. And while Americans finally decided she was unqualified to be Vice President, they never got a glimpse of the real Sarah. The real Sarah is a dangerous extremist. And she has the past to prove it.
Poutraged Eric Cantor Blames Democrats for Tea Party Violence
Righteous Eric Cantor claimed yesterday that his office was the target of gun violence. I wondered at the time the teabaggers may have shot at his office, seeing as they are now furious with Republicans for allowing a “Marxist Socialist Nazi” to “take over” the healthcare sector. But whose fault is that? They wouldn’t be so angry if Republicans hadn’t been lying to them for so long. So how would that have made the violence equal, if in fact, he had been targeted by the teabaggers? You lay down with dogs….Just to be sure, I checked Palin’s target map and I didn’t see Eric name on there anywhere. And then I remembered how Republicans love to play victim as soon as the heat gets turned up on them. Unfortunately for Cantor, the police don’t concur with his version of events. So much for Cantor’s desperate attempt to take cover for being a bully by hopping on the victim bus.
McCain to Double Down on His Losing Health Care Strategy

McCain is everywhere this post-healthcare reform passage morning. McCain is apparently feelin’ rather badly for himself and his party, as his main message today is “Everything we did wrong in the last year, we’re going to do more of! We’re going to run on repealing healthcare reform. We’re not going to be a part of any solutions. And lastly, I am bringing Palin back for another Hail Mary next week.”
A Jealous Sarah Palin Lashes Out at Barack Obama On Health Care

The half-term governor of Alaska who quit mid-term due to an inability to get her agenda passed and indeed, even her own Attorney General nominated (a first in Alaska), strikes out at Obama, calling him “inexperienced” and unable to get a bi-partisan bill due to his “lack of management experience."
Domestic Violence Victims Denied Health Insurance by GOP Senators

Let’s say you were going to cast a Republican Clown Show of Hypocrites who ran on “Family Values” whilst cheating on their wives and voting against women’s rights at every turn.
Let’s imagine this is the most ridiculous Clown Show ever… so bad that these Republican Clowns actually voted against protecting battered women from being cut off from health insurance access. Yes, let’s pretend that they actually voted to ensure that in nine states, health insurance companies could tell a woman who has been battered that she has a pre-existing condition.
The Media Carries The GOP’s Water With the Govt is Broken Narrative

Democrats are ultimately responsible for solving the problem of the gridlock. But Democrats can't force Republicans to work together to solve the country's problems, and frankly, this meme only reinforces the illogical idea the Democrats have power over Republicans. Blaming Democrat for GOP obstructionism is ridiculous. That's like blaming a domestic violence victim for the abuser's behavior. Democrats have control over their own behavior, and their only choice right now is to overcome the GOP obstructionism using any legal means necessary.
Left Behind: Conservatives’ Values are Anti-American
What exactly does the modern day conservative stand for? They’ve got a lot of confusion going on there, and not too many solid, consistent values. We’ve got regression, rage, and stupidity as an on-going theme, and the omni-present hatred of the “other”.
Sarah Palin: Walkin’ the Thin Line with SarahPAC
Sarah Palin raked in around 2 million dollars as the of the end of the fiscal year reporting for SarahPAC shows, but instead of helping the cause, Palin is helping herself to the tune of one million dollars for paying for her private jet charter, billboard faux bus tour, expensive suites, while donating only $65,000 to candidates.
Stealth Candidate Scott Brown Is Lying about his Beliefs
Moderates and independents need to start paying very close attention in future elections, as the right is running “stealth candidates”. Since apparently, the majority of voters don’t want a religious extremist racist in office, the only thing for a teabagging birther like Scott Brown to do is LIE about their beliefs in order to get elected.
A Call for Progressive Action In the Massachusetts Senate Race
Tuesday’s special US Senate election in Massachusetts presents a critical moment for both the Obama administration and the Democratic Party, which is why Democrats need to mobilize to prevent Republicans from possibly derailing the Obama agenda.
Copenhagen Smack Down: Der Spiegel Reporter to Inhofe: “You’re ridiculous!”
The ranking Republican on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, Jim Inhofe, made a scathingly embarrassing appearance in Copenhagen. While the senator didn’t have any meetings scheduled in Copenhagen, he managed to put together an impromptu press conference, during which he took it upon himself to announce that "global warming was a hoax perpetrated on the world by the UN" and sold to Americans "by the Hollywood elite."
Sarah Palin Attacks President Obama on Foreign Soil During Wartime
Sarah Palin actually managed to show up for her speech in Hong Kong, which wasn't surprising because apparently all it takes to get her to go anywhere is a healthy paycheck. Palin spent her first speech on foreign soil trying to equate herself with President Obama, and going on the attack. Welcome to the new definition of patriotism in the GOP.
Republican Lynch Mobs Try to Destroy Healthcare Reform
A leaked memo reveals what’s behind the crazies claiming they "don’t want no socialized medicine" at recent Town Halls. Republicans are coordinating an assault and harassment campaign of Democratic leaders’ Town Hall meetings in an effort to kill Health Care Reform and fool lawmakers into believing there is wide-spread opposition to the notion of human beings in a civilized nation being given access to health care.
