Donald Trump is not having a good day. He felt much better about things on Tuesday night before the counting of the ballots that had been received by mail. But now he’s in full feral mode and attacking everyone and everything.
Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon was arrested today on charges of mail fraud and money laundering. The indictment against Bannon came from the Southern District of New York and not the FBI.
Since the alleged crimes involved the mail, the arrest was made by the United States Postal Inspection Service. While many have not heard of them, they are not new. In fact, the Inspection Service is the oldest federal law enforcement agency and was formed by Benjamin Franklin.
The website Vimeo has pulled content from Infowars and its founder Alex Jones from its site for violating the platform’s video content standards. A spokesperson for the video hosting service told Business Insider on Sunday that the Infowars videos “violated our Terms of Service prohibitions on discriminatory and hateful content.” Vimeo is a video-sharing website in which users can upload, share and view videos.
Conspiracy theories have always existed, but in recent years they have been getting more numerous and more troublesome. There is a new tendency of conspiracy theorists to target regular people as well as public figures such as politicians and celebrities. This can raise havoc in these people’s lives, so they are fighting back by filing lawsuits. If they can prove actual damages they have suffered there is a good chance this new class of plaintiffs will win these suits, which may change the national dialogue for the better.
When a conspiracy theorist is elected President of the United States, these are the things you can expect to happen.

Trump supporter will seek out the “Mexicans. Syrians. People who can’t speak American and go right up behind them and make them a little bit nervous.”
Drudge said he and Trump’s supporters “wondered if the government was lying about the intensity of the hurricane” and legitimacy of National Hurricane Center data.
"Fire that idiot pipsqueak Brian Stelter, who said anybody that raised a question about Hillary's health was a conspiratorial thinker"
"Congress has an obligation to use resources and taxpayer dollars effectively and efficiently and respect the men, women, and resources of DoD.
White jets and their chemtrails have replaced black helicopters as harbingers of certain climate doom. It's the black guy in the White House and his government running dogs doing all the harm.
Ted and Rafael Cruz are just two more in a long line of American political paranoiacs. The list of conspiracy theories is long and often peculiar
An obsessed Islamophobe and birther has come up with what he thinks is master plan for people of faith and all true patriots to stage a coup to remove the twice legally elected president.
The hearings on Syria did not answer every reasonable question about a possible U.S. punitive strike, but they exposed some questions as unreasonable.
For the record, being twice-elected is not an impeachable offense, and being Black while President does not qualify as high crimes and misdemeanors.
When the Tea Party emerged four summers ago, many of us dismissed them as a corporate-seeded astroturf movement. We were wrong. The GOP's grassroots are the fringe.
For those who shocked by Edward Snowden's flight to Russia, he's following a path set by William Martin and Bernon Mitchell ... once upon today.
