In an interview with North Dakota radio host Scott Hennen former vice president Dick Cheney said that it would be a mistake for the Republican Party to become more moderate. He said that doing so would mean changing the fundamental philosophy of the GOP. Cheney also said that the older Republicans should move on, but yet he is still here, helping the Democrats.

Dick Cheney Claims to Be Defending the Little Guy From Obama

Former VP Dick Cheney gave an interview to The Weekly Standard, in which he claimed that he publicly criticizes President Obama because he is fighting for the little guy. Cheney claimed to be defending the lower level Bush administration people on the torture issue. The problem with Cheney’s statement is that President Obama has made it clear that he is not interested in prosecuting the little guy.

Cheney Tried to Sabotage Obama with Israel

In a piece in the New Yorker by Seymour Hersh about the complexities facing the Obama administration on the issue of Syria, Hersh reports that now former vice president Dick Cheney tried to sabotage the relationship between then president elect Obama and Israel by saying that Obama was pro-Palestinian and that he would never support their efforts.
