The Wall Street Journal reported yesterday that Donald Trump attorney/fixer Michael Cohen received access to $774,000 of funding during the height of the president’s 2016 campaign. Cohen had previously said that he used $130,000 of his own money to pay off porn star Stormy Daniels to keep her quiet about her sexual relationship with Trump.
There is one notable person who:
- Has an extremely close relationship with President Trump.
- Was in Bedminster, New Jersey, with Trump in May of 2017 when he decided to fire FBI Director James Comey.
- Was a passenger on the plane flying home from the G-20 conference in Germany strategizing with the president about how to manage the fallout of Donald Trump Jr.’s June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower.
- Was at Trump Tower and met with the woman Russian lawyer/spy who was present for the June 2016 meeting.
- Was the point person for the Trump Organization for many years on business deals with convicted Russian mafia money launderer Felix Sater.
- Has not been called to testify or talk to Robert Mueller or his team.
So it is a mystery: why hasn’t Robert Mueller called in Ivanka Trump for questioning?
“She’s involved in everything,” said a former White House adviser now in the private sector “It’s odd. Unless they consider her a target of the investigation.”
Fox News host Laura Ingraham blasted President Donald Trump’s new legal analyst and spokesman Rudy Giuliani, for contradicting Trump’s claims that he didn’t know about payments his personal attorney Michael Cohen allegedly made to former adult film star Stormy Daniels. Ingraham said that Giuliani’s televised comments were “a problem” because they contradicted what the president had earlier said about the matter.
In the age of Trump shocking news no longer shocks people. And today’s NBC News/Survey Monkey poll is a case in point.
We should all be shocked by this poll which shows that only 37% of respondents believe that our president tells the truth “all or most of the time.” How can the United States government effectively operate when it is lead by a huckster con artist reality TV show star?
On Monday we reported that members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus have drafted articles of impeachment against Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein. This is of course an unprecedented move, and it is also a sign of desperation on the part of the congressional allies of President Donald Trump.
The stable genius Donald Trump and his world-class lawyer/fixer Michael Cohen probably would be shocked to learn that the United States has federal laws that say how political campaign money can be spent, because based on their actions it seems that they don’t know that such laws even exist.
Seeing Donald Trump holding a Bible and pretending to be a religious leader is enough to short circuit every synapse in one’s brain.
The Republicans refused to investigate it, and the House Intelligence Committee Report ignored it.
But one of the biggest stories coming out of Washington this week was confirmation of the role of the National Rifle Association (NRA) in helping Russia funnel massive amounts of money into the Trump campaign in 2016.
In Korea, nothing is what it seems.
What they call the demilitarized zone is actually the most heavily militarized area in the world.
Technically the two Koreas are still at war, even though they’ve had over 60 years of peace.
North Korea’s underground nuclear test site has been rendered unusable after most of the mountain on top of it collapsed, according to a group of Chinese scientists. The collapse means there won’t be any more missile testing going on there, and it may also mean there could be radioactive leaks threatening the environment and the health and safety of the population.
In a telephone interview with Fox News on Thursday morning, President Donald Trump revealed for the first time that he did indeed know about his lawyer Michael Cohen’s payment of $130,000 to Stormy Daniels.
Trump tried to hold the hand of his wife as they welcomed French President Macron and his wife to the White House, but the First Lady wanted no party of PDA with her adulterous husband.
Another one of Donald Trump’s porn star girlfriends is in the news today. Porn actress Jessica Drake appeared in an interview on ABC this morning saying that her friend and fellow porn star Stormy Daniels had confided in her, confirming Daniels story saying that she had been threatened in a parking lot and warned to keep quiet about her sexual relationship with the president.
Republican consultant Rick Wilson wrote a book called “Everything Trump Touches Dies” and this morning’s news is showing just how true that is. Canadian singer Shania Twain responded to an interview question by saying she would have voted for Trump if she could, because he seemed like he was “honest.”
On March 22nd the Washington Post published an article about the new spending bill which contained this small item which did not generate a lot of publicity at the time: “The bill provides $380 million to the federal Election Assistance Commission to make payments to states to improve election security and technology, and the FBI is set to receive $300 million in counterintelligence funding to combat Russian hacking.”
Last week during a court hearing in New York Michael Cohen’s lawyers reluctantly disclosed a secret that a lot of people were hoping would remain hidden. They revealed, at the judge’s insistence, that Fox News host Sean Hannity has been a client of Donald Trump’s lawyer/fixer for a long time.
