At his daily press briefing today White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was asked about Glenn Beck’s attacks on Obama’s Christianity. Gibbs said, “People are entitled to their own opinion as ill informed as it may be, but they’re not entitled to their own facts. The president is a committed mainstream Christian.”
We all know that logic isn’t a strong suit for Glenn Beck, but on his radio show today while trying to defend Mitch McConnell’s pandering to the Obama is a Muslim movement, Beck managed to claim that Barack Obama is the biggest birther of all, “You know who the biggest birther is? Barack Obama.”
Convinced that only conservatives have a right to rule, and that they are not a defeated political party but the victims of an unlawful usurpation, a government in exile, the Republicans have declared war on America and will go to any lengths to return to power.
Do you remember when Glenn Beck promised a miracle from God at his 8-28 rally? On his Fox News program today Beck unveiled the power of the Lord through flying geese. A flyover by some geese is what Beck is citing as his miracle. Beck called it “God’s flyover.”

Beck claims 400,000 people attended, Palin claims 500,000 people attended, and Michele Bachmann said 1 million people were there, but independent estimates place the number at 87,000-100,000 meaning another Beck rally has flopped.

This said, it can now be understood why the conservative book writing movement is an exercise in apologetics from the Heritage Foundation to Beck to Coulter; why it has to be. The minute you start acknowledging other points of view, you begin to encourage people to think, to ask questions, to make choices. This must be discouraged at all costs.
On his Fox News show today, Glenn Beck claimed that all progressives are terrorists, “Many of these people are nothing more than terrorists, economic terrorists, free speech terrorists, religious terrorists, racial terrorists. They are attempting to silence you through terror. They have not gone to a flight school or strapped bombs to their chest, but they are terrorists just the same.”

Beck claimed America was Father Knows Best, but the liberal ideology has turned us all into Homer Simpson.

Beck claimed that nobody is watching Ed Schultz because he supports Obama, “Maybe people aren’t watching you because, ‘you busted your ass for Obama.’ That’s not journalism. That’s advocacy.”

Beck asked, “Is there a possibility that anyone who is involved is going to use this emergency or plotted this as a way to destroy the credibility of Fox News?”

Beck even went as far as to thank God for the existence of Fox News, “No one in the media seems to care a lot, thank God that there’s Fox.”

First, Beck claimed that America hates the World Cup, and then he equated the World Cup with the bubonic plague, so why does Beck hate the World Cup? The answer is in the ratings. Since we last checked on the viewership totals for Glenn Beck’s Fox News show viewers have continued to flee his program. Last Friday, Beck hit a new all time low of 1.743 million viewers. The new twist of Beck’s plummet is that he is now being in the ratings by such Fox News heavyweights as Bret Baier and Greta Van Susteren. Even Shep Smith beat him once.

The birther movement is back with a new conspiracy that states not only was Barack Obama not born in America, but that the whole birther movement is a creation of Obama and the Left, in order to make the right look crazy. Both Tom Tancredo and Glenn Beck have embraced this conspiracy within a conspiracy that, in essence blames the entire birther movement on Obama and the Left.
Director James Cameron was on MSNBC’s Hardball today and when he was asked by host Chris Matthews about the power Glenn Beck, he delivered an ominous warning, “Guys like Beck and the others, I think they are very dangerous to this country.” Some on the Left like Cameron are starting to wake up and realize that Beck, Limbaugh, and the others need to be taken seriously as more than entertainers.
The Atlantic’s Andrew Sullivan was on the syndicated Chris Matthews Show today, and he said that the Beck, Palin, Limbaugh and Fox News are calling the government illegitimate, and are committing sedition. While fear mongering about health care on his radio show with Noel Sheppard from Newsbusters, Glenn Beck said, “I don’t believe liberals have hearts. No, no, no, they have hearts. They have no brains.” Interestingly enough, liberals were smart enough to beat Beck and his mindless followers on health care, so if liberals lack brains, what does that make him?

Malkin asked Beck, “How much oxygen do you really want to give a guy who is trying to save his job?” Beck then questioned whether or not he and Malkin were on the same side.

Beck told his listeners that they should be “hacked off” at the RNC because they are playing on people’s fears. Without a hint of irony in his voice, Beck was upset that the RNC was using people’s fears to make money.
After the right wing took a beating this week due to Jim Bunning one man filibuster of jobless benefits, they counter attacked by doing what they do best. They spread a heavily edited seven second video of Harry Reid that makes it seem like he is calling the loss of 36,000 more jobs good news, but they leave out the fact that the good news Reid was referring to is that job losses were less than expected.

Jones said that he loved Beck, and there was nothing Beck could do about it. Beck responded that he loves Van Jones too. His attacks were nothing personal, and he never wanted to see him fired. World Net Daily and Beck have been trading shots and jabs for months now, because Beck has been mocking the birthers, who have in turn labeled Beck a left winger.

Fox News president Roger Ailes was on ABC’s This Week today, where he was confronted by Arianna Huffington about the inflammatory rhetoric that Glenn Beck uses on his show. Ailes replied, “He’s talking about Hitler and Stalin slaughtering people so I think he was probably accurate.”
On his Fox News program yesterday Glenn Beck was asking his panel for one book that is a must read. The Federalist Papers were suggested. Beck said, “The one that makes your head hurt. Sarah Palin made her debut today on Fox News’ Glenn Beck program, and she ran into some trouble when Beck asked her who her favorite Founding Father is. Much like her choice in newspapers, Palin said, “All of them.”
