Elements of the Democratic Party have bought into this Republican framing, similarly deploying “wokeness” as a term of slander and dismissal, betraying key constituencies as they flee to the center, looking more and more like Republicans as they court “bi-partisanship.”
James Carville called for Donald Trump to be left on television and Twitter so America can see his stupidity and his blathering idiocy.
Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville thinks Donald Trump will duck out of debates with Joe Biden. He sees a completely opposite situation to the one painted by Republicans.
While the President’s allies have tried to claim Biden is afraid to debate, Carville argued the reverse. He spoke to MSNBC’s Brian Williams about a new article by Thomas Friedman discussing the debates.
“Of course Biden wants to debate Trump,” Carville said.
“Trump is a doofus dolt. Biden debated Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, who’s the most on-message politician I’ve seen in my life, Cory Booker, Amy Klobuchar.”
“I saw him the night before South Carolina. He did very well,” Carville went on.
“He should debate him without condition anywhere that he wants to. Joe Biden will trounce Donald Trump.”
“What he needs is to be sure to get a picture side by side so you can see how fit and trim Vice President Biden is and what a slob that Trump is. No, Tom Friedman is dead wrong on this.”
“I’m sure that Biden people will be very well briefed to have the debates. I don’t think Trump will show up. I don’t think Trump will get anywhere around a debate with Joe Biden.”
“Joe Biden has debated some of the most articulate, bright, message-disciplined people I’ve ever seen in my life,” Carville said.
“So, I’m sorry, Tom, I like you, you’re a nice guy, but that was a waste of ink.”
James Carville believes Donald Trump will lose the 2020 election. The veteran Democratic political strategist said someone needed to break the news to the President.
Carville spoke to MSNBC’s Brian Williams on Thursday following a series of terrible polls for President Trump.
“I think there is a better chance that Donald Trump does not run for reelection than he’s reelected,” Carville said.
“There’s no chance he’s gonna be reelected.”
Carville went on to explain that things are out of control for Trump and someone would soon need to tell him that the writing was on the wall for November.
“He’s lost control over everything,” Carville said.
“And you can see the fear in the voice of these Republican politicians,” Carville said. “There’s zero chance he’s gonna be reelected.”
“Somebody’s gonna have to go tell this guy, look, you just can’t risk the humiliating defeat that’s gonna come your way,” he said.
In the same interview, Carville said he didn’t care who former Vice President chose as his running mate.
“I’ve said before in a kind of exaggerated way, I don’t care. Pick Sarah Palin. I’ll be for her too. I just want to win this thing.”
James Carville said that Democratic voters across the country have spoken loudly and unambiguously for Biden, so it is time for Sanders to end his campaign.
During the Tuesday broadcast of Morning Joe, host Joe Scarborough claimed "climate alarmists" are denying science by opposing the extension of the Keystone oil pipeline.
