In the run-up to the January 6th insurrection, Lindsey Graham did plenty to help Donald Trump spread misinformation. The South Carolina senator went as far as to call Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to inquire about the state‘s vote count.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has announced that Representative Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), one of only two Republicans to vote for the formation of a committee to investigate the insurrection of January 6, has been appointed to the committee.
The House of Representatives will soon vote on a bill that will launch a committee empowered with investigating the events of January 6, the day a mob of former President Donald Trump‘s supporters led an insurrection against Congress in a bid to overturn the results of the 2020 general election.
Rick Wilson warns Democrats: "Here's what you don't get; the Trump GOP as comprised today isn't stupid. It's evil. They're smart. They'll play to your goodwill and instinct for a bipartisan veneer on the Jan 6th issue...when Speaker Greene takes office, let me know how that bipartisan circle jerk worked out for you."
It has only taken a few months for Republicans to try and gaslight Americans about the January 6th insurrection. Last week, congressmen like Paul Gosar and Andrew Clyde painted the rioters as patriots.
