There is little money for the agencies tasked with helping stop the virus due to the Republicans’ precious sequester the GOP House cannot possibly blame on anyone but their sick austerity economics.
There were two specific announcements on Wednesday that, taken on their own, were just economic news reports, but if a person had kept abreast of Republicans’ actions over the past few months, the stories were not “news” at all but the expected culmination of congressional Republicans’ economic agenda that reveal precisely why America’s economy is struggling.
As long as the wealthy continue benefitting from the President’s economic recovery, Republicans will stay the austerity course that continues retarding growth despite one 4th quarter report that GDP ticked up to 3 percent.
The media is not about to damage Republicans’ electoral chances by telling Americans the real reason why they are in poverty, not finding good jobs, and losing their unemployment benefits.
If Americans have learned only one thing about the economic recovery, it is that Republicans will make sure the only beneficiaries of good economic reports are Wall Street and corporations .
