As the 1/6 insurrection has gotten farther in the rear-view mirror, Republicans have been working hard on absolving Donald Trump of any blame. The majority of GOP senators weren’t even willing to meet with the Mother of Brian Sicknick and Capitol police officers.
Donald Trump and the GOP went into the Republican National Convention hoping for a significant boost in their polling numbers. The Convention came and went and that polling bounce does not seem to have occurred.
The problem with the Republicans' argument and lies, and there are many, is that statistics continue to prove that conservative anti-government policies over the past thirty-five years have driven income inequality and degraded society and are every bit as responsible for the events in Baltimore as out-of-control police violence against African Americans.
As cities across the nation either burn or shut down because of protests, conservatives jump in and express their opinion about the revolt in Ferguson and across the nation. Sites like The Blaze allow hate on their comments section by gun-totting thugs to express their feelings and divide themselves from understanding the pain and suffering from people of color who feel that there is no justice being a person of color.
