Another day brings another addition to ever growing portfolio of lies that Sean Hannity is delivering to his Fox News viewers about Barack Obama. On his show tonight, Hannity lied about Obama slashing anti-terrorism funding to New York City. This is a complete falsehood. New York City is actually gaining $47 million more in anti-terrorism funding over last year.
On his Fox News show tonight Sean Hannity used a list of the events of the past week to make the case that President Barack Obama should either resign or not run for a second term. Hannity said, "Mr. President what in the world are you doing. Is it time to step up, or maybe step aside?"
On his FNC program Hannity, Sean Hannity was doing his best to sell the oil spill in the Gulf as Obama's Katrina, when he flat out lied to his audience and said, "The fact is they sat back for nine days and did absolutely nothing." If by doing nothing Hannity meant deploying the Coast Guard within hours of the explosion, first for search and rescue then to contain the spill, then Obama did nothing.
James O'Keefe was on FNC's Hannity tonight for his first interview since Landrieu-gate broke and his latest defense of his actions is a doozy. First he claimed that it was all a misunderstanding, then he said, "Generally speaking it is the people's office, these are representatives of our country."
On his radio show today, Sean Hannity claimed that no conservative opposes healthcare reform. Hannity said, "No conservative is against healthcare reform...all there's been is alienation and derisive comments by the Democrats." He actually said this with a straight face, seriously.
Sarah Palin has been all over the media since her book came out, but the one network that she hasn't been on is CBS. Palin's reps have turned down requests from Katie Couric, and the former Alaska governor is still harboring a grudge against late night host David Letterman. Palin has made it clear that she is open to all requests, except CBS.
Remember the weeks of indigent outrage in both the right wing and mainstream media when the Obama administration said that Fox News is not a news organization? It turns out that Sarah Palin did a little blackballing of her own, when she banned CBS from covering her resignation speech. Where is the criticism of Palin?
Michael Moore has been making the TV rounds promoting his new film Capitalism: A Love Story, but he claims that CBS canceled an appearance on The Early Show today after he went on ABC's Good Morning America last week and blasted Disney which owns ABC. Moore thinks CBS was worried that he would do the same to them. CBS said he was never booked for the show.
President Obama's critics often complain that he is overexposed and on television too much, but the ratings disagree. The latest example of this was the president's Monday night appearance on David Letterman's The Late Show. Obama delivered Letterman his highest ratings in four years and over 7 million total viewers. It seems that Americans still like to watch this president.
Glenn Beck sat down for an interview with Katie Couric for her CBS News.com series @katiecouric. Couric asked Beck if his joke about poisoning Pelosi was part of his show business side. Beck responded, "Have you asked Jon Stewart this question?" The implication being that the man followed by millions of conservatives considers his program to be a comedy, just like The Daily Show.
President Barack Obama and his 2008 election opponent Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) both released statements on the death of Walter Cronkite. McCain expressed his personal sadness, while Obama said, "This country has lost an icon and a dear friend, and he will be truly missed."
On The Sean Hannity Show today host Sean Hannity claimed that Obama has remained silent after the Iranian election, and thousands of people are growing outraged with Obama. Hannity said that Obama doesn't want to make Adolf Jr. mad. The problem is that President Obama was on television this morning talking about....the Iranian election.
Sean Hannity said on his radio show that you have to be a fool to oppose waterboarding, but yet Sean still hasn't followed through with his promise to be waterboarded for charity, so the only fool I see here is Sean Hannity.
Comedian Wanda Sykes performed at the annual White House Correspondents Dinner, and while she did a great job poking fun at the Obama's some her best material was reserved for Sean Hannity and his offer to be waterboarded for charity. Check out the video.
Conservative talk radio has been smoldering the air waves today with criticism of President Barack Obama over his choice of condiments. The fact that Obama ordered a cheeseburger for lunch yesterday with Dijon mustard, not ketchup is proof to them that the president is an un-American elitist. Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Mark Steyn have all criticized Obama's burger.
Some conservatives are upset because PBS talk show host Tavis Smiley, told Harry Reid to put down the crack pipe and acknowledge that Democrats in Congress work for Barack Obama. Smiley added that, "We all work for Barack Obama." This little comment has brought out the media bias conspiracy again.
Here is the video:
Sarah Palin ran to rescue of John McCain and his comments about the economy during part one of her interview with Sean Hannity which will air tonight. She said that Democrats are unfairly attacking McCain for saying that the fundamentals of the economy are strong.
