Ex-US Attorney: Cohen Has Implicated Trump in the Russia Conspiracy

Michael Cohen’s testimony yesterday implicated Donald Trump in a Russian conspiracy to interfere with the 2016 presidential election, according to a former federal prosecutor.

The president claimed after Cohen’s daylong congressional testimony that his former personal attorney had cleared him of any charges in the so-called “Russian hoax.”  But former U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade in an artile today in The Daily Beast maintains that Cohen had actually bolstered the criminal case against Trump as well as other members of his inner circle, including his oldest son, Don Jr. read more

Giuliani Admits the Trump Campaign Colluded With Russia

Rudy Giuliani told Chris Cuomo on CNN last night that he “never said there was no collusion” between the Trump campaign and Russia. The former New York City mayor said that in the past he had only claimed that the president  himself was not personally involved in collusion. By his statements, the president’s personal attorney basically admitted that the Trump campaign did in fact collude with Russia to help Trump win the 2016 election. read more

USA Today Gives Evidence Of Illegal Trump Collusion With Russia

President Donald Trump engaged in campaign violations and colluded with Russia, committing both crimes “in plain sight” according to an op-ed published in USA Today.

Ethics watchdogs Fred Wertheimer and Norm Eisen wrote the op-ed, pointing out Trump’s obvious crimes. One, of course, occurred when Trump’s longtime attorney, Michael Cohen, implicated the president in a conspiracy when he pleaded guilty to violating campaign finance laws. read more

Papadopoulos Claims Sessions Lied Under Oath About Collusion

New testimony from former Trump aide George Papadopoulos seems to implicate Attorney General Jeff Sessions in activities of collusion between the Trump presidential campaign and the Russian government. In addition, if Papadopoulos is to be believed, Sessions may have committed perjury when he lied in his sworn testimony to Congress about his involvement in approving meetings between Russia and Trump campaign officials. read more
