Trump is treating his theft of congressionally appropriated funds for military families to pay for his wall as something to brag about.
President Donald Trump is planning to sign the bipartisan spending package Congress has agreed upon regarding border security according to a new report from CNN.
The report says that Trump will sign a new bipartisan deal that will allocate $1.375 billion for a border barrier — short of the more than $5 billion he demanded — according to two confidential sources in the White House.
Though the U.S. government has opened for business again, it is worthwhile to understand the anti-worker venom that perhaps motivated and certainly prolonged Trump’s Republican-backed government shutdown, which has the notoriety of being longest shutdown of the federal government in American history.
