A Top House Intel Democrat Just Terrified Trump With A Russia Investigation Promise

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) said that if Trump and his people won’t cooperate with the Russia investigation, investigators will do whatever takes to get to the bottom of the scandal.

While talking about the unwillingness of Trump world to cooperate with the Russia investigation, Swalwell said, “These guys only understand one way and that seems to be compelling them and forcing them to have to come forward. They only acknowledge contacts with Russia after all of their denials are exhausted, and they are confronted by the press, so if that’s the way it’s has to be we’re going to get to the bottom of this no matter how much they try and duck, hide, distract, obstruct.”

What terrifies Trump is that no matter what he does the investigation and the investigators keep coming. The Russia scandal is not going away, and the more Trump and his people try to duck the investigation, the deeper the investigators dig.

The last word that Swalwell used in his answer was the most dangerous and telling. It was no accident that Rep. Swalwell used the word obstruct. Trump is currently under investigation for obstruction of justice, and a member of the House committee investigating Trump seems to have reason to believe that someone is obstructing the Russia investigation.

The word obstruct should terrify Trump, because it is the obstruction of justice charge that has the power to get him impeached and end his presidency.
