This Is Not Going To End Well: Trump To Meet With Parkland Shooting Students

The White House has announced that Trump is going to meet with Stoneman Douglas High School students who survived the Parkland shooting.

The AP reported, “President Donald Trump will hold a listening session with high school students this week following the deadly school shooting in Florida. A White House schedule says Trump will host students and teachers Wednesday. He also will meet with state and local officials on school safety on Thursday. The White House did not immediately answer questions about which students would be attending the session.”

The White House could leave the protesting Parkland students out of the meeting

The White House won’t specify which students are attending the meeting, which means that they could screen the students and not allow the students who have been demanding action on gun violence to participate. This would be the least surprising, and an almost expected move from the Trump White House. The other “listening sessions” that Trump has held as president have been disasters.

Trump tried to hold listening sessions on jobs with CEO’s but the short attention span president kept wandering off, and who could ever forget the classic listening session where Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) tried to teach Trump about racism?

The only reason that this listening session is happening is that the students have been all over TV and Twitter demanding action.

The students want more than listening. They want action, and this is the kind of meeting giving Trump volatile emotional state that could get ugly fast.
