Republicans Are Losing Their Minds After Mueller’s Press Conference

Republicans lose it after Mueller press conference

After Mueller destroyed Trump’s claims of no collusion no obstruction, Republicans took another swig of Trump Kool-Aid and repeated their lie.

Here is the statement from Republican Judiciary Committee ranking member Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA):

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders responded to Mueller in a statement provided to PoliticusUSA, “The Special Counsel has completed the investigation, closed his office, and has closed the case. Mr. Mueller explicitly said that he has nothing to add beyond the report, and therefore, does not plan to testify before Congress. The report was clear—there was no collusion, no conspiracy—and the Department of Justice confirmed there was no obstruction. Special Counsel Mueller also stated that Attorney General Barr acted in good faith in his handling of the report. After two years, the Special Counsel is moving on with his life, and everyone else should do the same.” Sarah Sanders

What Republicans are saying is not what Robert Mueller said. It is what they want to believe. Mueller said that he legally could not charge Trump with a crime, which doesn’t mean no obstruction. Republicans are sinking, and they are hanging on to no collusion no obstruction like their lives depend on it.

The Republican response to Mueller’s press conference is proof that there is no amount of evidence of Trump’s guilt that will change their minds. Republicans won’t vote to convict Trump in the Senate if he is impeached in the House. The Republican Party is a lost cause that will always place America behind protecting their corrupt president.
